Long-standing pub in Bagshot formerly called the Fighting Cocks, reopened after a 6 month closure in March 2025.
Situated on the A30 junction with the High Street, this lively pub it is popular in the local community, retaining two separate bars it also has a pleasant patio and small car park.
A single real ale is served from a changing range of three.
Historic Interest
There has a pub on this site since Elizabethan times. In those early days it was known as the Blackboy but at some time in the late 15th to mid-16th century the name was changed to the Running Deer. It was further changed to the Bull, and finally to the Fighting Cocks in the early 18th century. The current building dates from around 1925, just prior to the building of the by-pass.
