Run by a friendly team this traditional dog friendly pub is a short walk from The Triangle and is a CAMRA award winning pub that has eleven handpumps serving mostly Butcombe and Liberation ales, ciders and other drinks. Good, freshly cooked food is served daily. It has a range of music and entertainment at nights. There is a covered courtyard and function room. Under-18s are not admitted.

Historic Interest

The left hand part with the Green tiled frontage is the former Pembroke Arms and is Grade II Listed. Historic England list entry 1140116
