Situated in a great position near Rutland Water it gets very busy in the summer with cyclists as it is on the Rutland Water Cycle Route. Good-quality home cooked food is available every day. The pub regularly hosts the Rutland Morris. Local ale from the Grainstore supplemented by Woodforde's Wherry and other frequently changing guest ales. The rooftop terrace and outside bar are particularly welcoming features during the summer..
