This Pub is Closed Long Term

Former Wethersoons. Reopened as a late night venue in May 2024, only opening at weekends. following a short term closure it reopened in December 2024 and appears to be opening most days, hours uncertain. Closed once more by 6th December 2024, apparently due to financial reasons leading to reposession by the owners.

Historic Interest

Built on the site of the Crown Inn coaching inn, built in 1605, closed in 1967 and later demolished. Opened as a branch of Yorkshire Bank.
