No Beer Garden but seated area at front in Summer (Public Area) This is also the smoking area. The historic interest is the building itself & the Town Hall (opposite) and other sites nearby. Public parking across the road.
Splendid former local main Post Office in the centre of town. Faced in Portland stone, designed in the Georgian style. Most of the interior wood panelling is original. Mainly a quiet pub with music only. Can be noisy when full (at weekends). Food served every day, typical Pub Food Menu at reasonable prices.
From 5pm on Weds night ,they participate in Rochdale's real ale Weds night promotion-where cask ales cost £2.70 per pint , to all customers.
