A relaxed country gastropub serving real ales, excellent wines and good food, purchased by the owner of Siren Craft Brewery in the early 2020's. Tables are mainly set for dining except the bar area. Up to two cask ales are available. Over recent years the pub has been refurbished, the car park has been extended and upgraded and the outside area turned into a large garden with countryside views. Located outside Swallowfield centre itself, the pub dates back to the 17th century and is a Grade II listed building. See website for 4 mile countryside walk incorporating a stop at the pub.
