Smart new pub and brewhouse on Piccadilly in Hanley, owned by Mart's Craft Beer, which used to be based in Knutton; the seating area is to the left of the entrance, comprising of a mix of bench seating and stools. The main focus, however, is the bar, which stretches all the way to the back of the pub; 8 hand-pumps are featured, plus 14 tall fonts, dispensing an ever-changing range of British and foreign ale, plus a real cider or two. If any more was needed, there is a range of bottles and cans to be imbibed, plus the omnipresent gin bar. Truly a paradise of ale! AWARDS: CAMRA Potteries Pub of the Month March 2019.
