Located in a village on the edge of Dartmoor, the London is very much a locals’ pub, but retains a friendliness to visitors. The interior mixes the traditional and the modern, with both darts and pool played here. The large garden and patio area is complemented by a decking area and three quirky beach huts with festoon lighting and heaters. . Despite the presence of music, a games machine and a pool table, this is a place where one can still have a quiet pint. The three beers (sometimes a fourth appears) are served in good condition. The regular bus service is the daily Plymouth - Tavistock route, whilst the 55 and 56 services are limited, and do not run on Sundays.
