This Pub is Permanently Closed

Popular pub next door to the Duke of Cornwall Hotel and opposite Plymouth Pavilions. The two regular beers are supplemented by a rotating guest ale, which could come from Bays, St. Austell or further afield such as Wells and Young. A daily carvery is available from 1130 daily (1200 Sun) until 1700, with an extensive main menu served all day until 2100 (2000 Sun). BT Sport is shown, with live music from 2130 on Fri and Sat eves. May close later on show days. Well behaved dogs are welcome, as are children whilst dining. Please note that the pub website is still under construction - more features will become available soon.

The pub was demolished on Sunday 31 January 2021, with planning ref no 20/01177/FUL, dated 11/08/2020, proposed demolition of former public house, granted conditionally 14/10/2020. A further planning application ref no 21/01371/FUL, dated 20/07/2021, Change of use to car park for a temporary period of 5 years, application withdrawn 07/09/2021, so the future use of the site is unknown.
