This Pub is Closed Long Term

The village is located just 10 minutes from Tavistock, with the pub in the centre of the village. Up to 3 real ales are available. Pool, darts and skittles are played, with a monthly quiz night with prizes! Real fires in winter maintain the friendly ambience of this village local. A car park is situated across the road. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome.

Relevant application for partial demolition and change of use is West Devon DC No 2298/22/FUL but was refused on 05 September 2022.

New planning application to West Devon DC, 2879/23/FUL, dated 14/02/24, proposal: Change of use from public house to dwelling with demolition of some parts (resubmission of 2298/22/FUL). Consultation ended on 21/03/24.

Sadly, planning application to West Devon DC, 2879/23/FUL, dated 14/02/24, was granted conditionally on 14 May 2024. The village will now lose its only public house.
