Stone-built town-centre pub with wooden floors in all three bar areas. One area is quiet and the other two served by the long bar have TVs for live sports and there is also a small TV in the gents' toilets. The pub dates back to the 1830s and was originally called the Globe and later, the Albion. Usually at least three real ales. The licensee also runs an outside bar. Now a Damp Proofing company.
