This Pub is Closed Long Term
1930s red brick pub that is reasonably unspoilt and consists of two rooms, each with a real fire, separated by a central, wood-panelled bar. The trophy case in the bar has awards dating back to the 1930s and a collection of lighters. Pictures of trains adorn the walls. Pool and darts played. Live music on Saturdays. It was awarded a local CAMRA Gold Award in 2011. Handy for the nearby marina in the summer months.
