This Pub is Permanently Closed
A mid-terraced commercial premises converted into an elongated open plan pub. The bar runs along the length of the building. It was refurbished & renamed in early 2013. The décor is in the theme of the American prohibition era. Even the weekend bouncers dress accordingly. Being on a main road into the town centre, the pub will be busy & noisy on the weekend. There is a small selection of world beers kept in the fridge including one from Australia. A guest beer may be provided on weekends when a large sporting event is taking place. Flat screen TVs display the sports coverage.
Pub sold in May 2016 and reopened as a Chinese restaurant in August 2016.
