An 18th century ironstone pub in an exposed position overlooking the valley, and across the road from Lamport Hall. It is well-kept with an emphasis on food. Consisting off four rooms with polished wooden floors and comfortable seating and a real fire to keep you warm in winter. Outside there is a large "secret" garden with views over the valley. Serves one changing cask beers.
