This Pub is Closed Long Term

CLOSED with Everards wishing to dispose. In this picturesque village stands this lovely stoned thatched country pub which has recently been refurbished. The interior is low-beamed with stone walls with a central bar and several relaxing areas to eat and drink in comfortable leather armchairs. Very traditional, the landlord strives to produce food using local ingredients along with slow roasted meats which concentrates the flavours of certain dishes, all served at reasonable price. Fresh fish from Billingsgate is served Friday. The Vane Arms Book Swap Club meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month to swap books; the aim is to share a love of reading not to be literary critics! Traditional pub games are also available; shove ha'penny, shut the box, and bagatelle One changing guest beer Occasional real cider.
