Originally a small bar, housed in part of a former Midland Bank/HSBC building and opened in December 2014. The pub was considerably extended in December 2016, and includes the 'Nags Head & Plough' corner which contains the pub sign and other memorabilia from the nearby former pub. Real ale choice varies, but usually includes one locally brewed beer and one national. Steak night on Wednesday is popular, as is the open buffet on Sunday lunchtime. Door staff on duty on Friday and Saturday evenings.
