White painted canalside pub, retaining traditional features such as beamed ceilings and open fire. Inside, to the left is a comfortable lounge bar, whilst to the right is a lounge area used for food service. Al fresco dining is possible in the canalside garden.

Historic Interest

On the 5th April 2016, Rushcliffe Borough Council rejected the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA's nomination of the Rose & Crown as an Asset of Community Value. This was on the grounds that the local branch of CAMRA did not meet Rushcliffe Borough Council's requirements for an eligible local connection.

Recorded as a public house in 1876 under publican Mrs Elizabeth Gadd (Post Office Directory).

As at November 2017, the freehold for the Rose & Cown (NT283443) was held by Ei Group plc (Reg. No. 2562808), formerly Enterprise Inns.
