The open plan layout has two distinct areas; one carpeted with tables laid out for diners, and the other a wooden floored area for drinkers. There are also two raised areas in each section which could be used for small parties. Décor is smartly contemporary. Special food themed events are occasionally held.

Historic Interest

Named after Harold Larwood and Bill Voce, who were Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club's fast bowling attack 1929 - 1939. The two achieved notoriety when asked to develop "Bodyline" bowling in Test Matches against Australia in 1932-1933. The pub was opened in 1985 as an adjunct to the new stand by Maber & Associates at the adjoining Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. An attractive pub, a single long rectangle with central entrance, one end of which is treated as a bar, the other as a restaurant with only a low fixed bench seat as a divide. There is a central door and bays at each side so that the exterior somewhat resembles a cricket pavilion. (Elain Harwood {Historic England}).
