Small hotel and restaurant on the edge of Kimberley and Awsworth. A small comfortable bar with a single cask available complements ample seating for dining. Ornamental plates decorate wooden beaming, while a large collection of whiskey jugs hangs near the specials boards.

Quiz on Wednesday and Sunday nights.

Historic Interest

Formerly Giltbrigs Farm, a piggery, it was acquired in 1974 by the Hogg family and renovated / rebuilt as a family home. Later, the family haulage business was operated from the site until 1986 when the premises changed from industrial to licensed hotel and restaurant. It is claimed the hotel is on the site of a former coaching operation and that the central stone section is over 500 years old.(www.hogsheadhotel.co.uk).

As at November 2017, the leasehold for the Hog's Head (NT487459) was held by Hogs Head Hotel LLP (Reg. No. OC374876).
