This Pub is Permanently Closed

Closed in early summer 2018 along with the whole parade of shops due to the granting of planning permission for the demolition of a fine, if a little uninvested, shopping parade no doubt for some modern identikit block of flats. While never a haunt for cask drinkers, it was a popular local pub for local people who otherwise have no other options. But who cares about them? It had been a retail unit converted to pub use in 1989.
