After a few years of closure when most people would have written it off as a pub, the "new" Talisman bounced back onto the local pub scene in late 2019 after so many of its neighbours have been consigned to the history books. A narrow fronted pub with a long interior, a serious investment has brought about a smart bar is at the front of the premises with a corridor leading to a sports bar at the rear each with local sporting and historical pictures. One nice touch is the retention of the old bar wall displaying the name of the pub. Karaoke is popular at the weekends with some talented contributors taking part.
