Traditional bar built in 1894 opposite Gilligan's Island and the police headquarters. On entry the bar counter sporting three new handpumps is on the right, while on the opposite wall are built two attractive fireplaces that give the room a homely feel. The decor of the rear section, giving access to the garden, makes good use of contrasting light and dark patterned colours with dark wood in evidence. Some great hogsheads serve as tables outside. The letting rooms are flexible to suit guests' needs and there is free Internet access but may not be available at the time of writing.
