This Pub is Permanently Closed

A fine building that in its latter days served as the HQ for the resurrected Newport County AFC. It was a popular pre and post match gathering place where fund-raising events were held. It had a spell as the changing rooms and kit laundry when County played at Somerton Park before it was redeveloped. A place of much football nostalgia for County followers.
