This Pub is Permanently Closed

A once very lively village local with small public bar and split level lounge which hosted quiz nights and weekend disco/karaoke. Courage Best was the house ale of choice, this once being a Courage house. Guest ales often appeared from the likes of Arkells, Brains, Federation, and Wadworth etc. Great times now just a memory as new owners decide what to do with the premises. The lower part of the premises, once a cinema, is now a mini market while it is rumoured that the higher level will remain as either as a family home, or be converted into a small restaurant and/or B&B.
