This Pub is Permanently Closed
Roadside tavern next to railway line to Cardiff/Ebbw Vale. Low ceilinged bar and restaurant with references to the time the Chartists sheltered from the rain en route to the Westgate Hotel. The pleasant dining room is arranged around a smart fireplace, while the lounge has very comfortable sofa seating. Pictures of sporting greats are in one corner near the games machines. Quiz night Wed at 9pm. Food options include senior and childrens deals, curry night (Wed), Good sized garden and play area with covered heated seated smoking area at the back. Note the pub does open on bank holiday Mondays.
NB. Pub put on the market for sale August 2017 and has since closed with its future uncertain.
