Micropub.

Micropub concentrating on cask ales, cider and perries. Craft beers added February 2019. Since opening in August 2010 they have served over 5000 different cask ales. World and unusual UK craft ales also available on draught and in cans, locally sourced pork pies are also sold. Traditional pub games are played with an annual cribbage tournament contested by regulars and a dartboard. Three beer festivals are held annually. Newark CAMRA Town Pub of the Year ten times; CAMRA Nottinghamshire Pub of the Year 2012, 2017 and 2018; CAMRA East Midlands Regional Pub of the Year 2012 and 2017.

Historic Interest

Opened August 2010. It is run for, and by, real ale enthusiasts and serves cask beers, real cider or Perry and has recently opened a tap wall serving keg and key keg beer.
