A Planning application: P2019/5070 Change of Use from Public House (Class A3) to a Dwelling (Class C3) Farmers Arms Glynneath Road Resolven SA11 4DW was made to Neath Port Talbot Council on Thu 06 Jun 2019 and was initially refused. However an appeal was made and this was approved by the Planning Inspectorate on 20.01.2020 Appeal Ref: APP/Y6930/A/19/3238694.

A Google Street View image dated Nov 2021 shows the building was being converted into a residential house, which has since been completed.
