Reopened in May 2023 under a new name, the Owl & Pussycat after a 7 year closure as a pub. In a previous incarnation when it was known as Bistro 7, it was awarded Montgomeryshire CAMRA's pub of the year in 2014. There is a public car park opposite. The pub has had a stunning refurbishment and is almost unrecognisable from its previous incarnations. The front part has been split into two rooms forming a traditional pub layout. The former function room at the rear has been replaced with a new toilet block. There is a smart covered heated area at the rear.
