Cask Ale not available

Situated by the side of a hill in the wilds of Dylife the Star is one of the highest pubs in Wales. This isolated inn, which dates back to 1640, is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. Scattered around are remnants of disused lead mines which was once the main industry here. For walkers the Glyndwr way is only 3/4 of a mile ahead and the Cambrian way passes the front door. The Star happily reopened after a 4 year closure in July 2025. Depending on trade, real ale may be reintroduced at a later date.
