This Pub is Permanently Closed
Demolished 11/6/13. 1/1/13 closed for good to make for the site's redevelopment as a 330-bed budget hotel. It was a comfortable, smallish sub-basement bar. This also acted as a feeder or an annex to Legends club which was next door. The front room had a long bar with mirrored-ceiling work. At the rear was large room used for dancing and entertainment; it also housed a stage. A popular happy-hour operated till 7pm. It attracted a mixed crowd. Got busy at weekends. Was a very handy stop-off if you had a lengthy wait for a train at Piccadilly.
