Demolished 1/1/1977, site is now road scheme. Closed 1/1/1977. History: Former street-corner Bell's, latterly Robinson's house. Demolished for road junction improvement. Hamilton Street (now Hamilton Square), facing Heaton Norris Park. Demolished during redevelopment of the area. It was replaced by the new-build Silver Jubilee with the licence (and licensee) transferring to the new pub which opened in 1977 to coincide with the jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
