This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/1/1974, site is now car parking. Closed 1/1/1974. History: Former large, street-corner Robinson's house. Originally it was a Bell's Hempshaw Brook Brewery house, this passed to Robinson's in 1949 when they acquired the Bell's business and its tied estate. Photos from 1973 in Stockport Archives show pub was open then.
