This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/10/1979, site is now road scheme. Closed 1/10/1979. History: Former mid-terrace Boddington's house. After demolition by CPO, the site became part of the then M63 (later M60) motorway. Its address, Huntsman's Brow was also obliterated by the scheme. Photo in Stockport Archives shows pub open Sept 1979 but nearby Egerton Arms (also M63 CPO) closed the following month.
