This Pub is Permanently Closed
Demolished 1/4/1994, site is now housing. Closed 1/1/1990. History: Former well-appointed street-corner Wilson's house, decorated in a mock-Tudor style; a local landmark. It was a building of some age, with the pub being extended into adjoining properties over the years. There is controversy over its final demise. Feb 1990 Opening Times magazine reported closed and boarded. Opening Times magazine April 1994 reported demolition.
