This Pub is Permanently Closed

Converted 1/7/1996 to become housing. Closed 1/7/1996. History: Former 1960/70s built Wilson's estate pub. Few details of it exist unfortunately, not even on Brewery History website. Planning Application 053531/FO/NORTH2/98 - Change of use of former public house to dwelling house and new boundary treatment; Metropole PH, Rylance Street, Beswick. Approved 23/4/1998. Opening Times magazine Aug 1996 (Stagger) reported boarded up. Building was eventually demolished at some point.
