This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/7/1990, site is now a landscaped site. Closed 1/7/1990. History: Former very large Chesters then Whitbread pub built in an elaborate Gothic style on what was then Armitage Street. Opening Times magazine Aug 1990 reported for sale with low reserve.
