This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/9/1996, site is now part of the redevelopment of the area. Closed 1/9/1996. History: Former John Smiths house on late Jarvis Street, position approximate. It was near to the now demolished Beswick Precinct. Swept away in re-development of the area. Closed as per Stagger article in Opening Times magazine Aug 1996; reopened Opening Times magazine Sept 1996; closed and boarded Opening Times magazine October 1996.
