This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished 1/12/2001, site is now a landscaped site. Closed 1/12/2001. History: Former large street-corner Wilson's house, latterly a Banks's house. This was Clowes Street until Pottery Lane barged through everything hereabouts in the 1990s. Opening Times magazine Aug 1996 noted it was for sale but still trading; Opening Times magazine Jan 2002 reported building was in a dangerous state, and due for demolition.
