This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished c.1/9/2007, site is now vacant. Closed c.1/9/2005. History: Small former Bass house. As the area declined, so did trade, but in an attempt to boost revenue, it renamed itself to Blue Moon in 2003 to try to cash in on the football trade from the newly opened nearby Manchester City stadium. That was not sufficient in the end, and Opening Times magazine Oct 2005 reported it closed; demolished late 2007.
