This Pub is Closed Long Term

A former 18th-century coaching inn, now one of Lancaster's foremost music venues, with a great jukebox and bands playing Friday and Saturday and some Sundays in the big room upstairs. The mix of ages, friendly service and intimate drinking spaces, including a cosy corner with a wood-burning stove, help to explain this pub's appeal. Table football is a further attraction. A popular quiz is held on the first Sunday of the month. The sheltered courtyard garden is recommended throughout the year.
