The Lion Inn is on Bolton Road not far from Atherton Rail Station and is a popular local.

There are a number of inter-connecting rooms with many TV screens. In the Summer of 2022 it is selling Real Ale again after a refurbishment with Taylors Landlord usually available on hand pump.
