Reopened October 2023 under new ownership. 'Chocolate box' image, low beamed village pub and restaurant, with ivy lined windows and large front garden in a quiet location. Just over the road from the village cricket ground and popular with diners as well as walkers. The Leicestershire Round long distance footpath passes the front of the pub. No scheduled bus service to the village.

Historic Interest

The Langton Brewery was established here by landlord Alistair Chapman in 2000.
