Stone built pub originally built as a school in 1728. It was subsequently converted into the village pub at an unknown later date. There is a larger Lounge at the front and separate Bar behind, which is accessed via a corridor. The large outdoor seating area behind the pub is accessed via steps from the pub or without steps from the car park. There is also a separate function room and bar area called The Loft.
