Small independent bar which opened 3rd November 2022 after a refurbishment of the premises as a joint venture between the sadly closed Curious Hop off licence and Major Tom's Social in Harrogate. The main single room is wooden-floored with a low partition down the middle and the bar to one end. Beer signs, a unique bottle collection and mirrors adorn the walls. On the bar are three handpumps serving mainly northern beers and behind it on the white tiled back wall are ten keg fonts. Some of the ten keg beers are gluten free and vegan friendly and usually include a sour, a DIPA and a strong stout. Off-sales are available along with growler fills. There is an additional seating area upstairs with a wide selection of board games and which can be booked for meetings. The food offering consists of sausage rolls, pickles, welsh rarebit, toasties and charcuterie. Pizzas can be ordered from the independent restaurant/takeaway opposite though it has limited opening hours.
