A traditional cosy feel to this local pub, which has two bars, one in a well equipped games room and the other is the main room which is comfortably furnished. This historic mining pub, over a hundred yeas old, is only one minute‘s walk from Bridge 48 on the canal, the first pub coming from Wigan 2 miles away. It has a secure children’s play area as part of a really nice beer garden. Tasty pub grub is served 12 till 7; coffee is available. Handy for walkers and cyclists, it also has a good sized car-park.
