Open Valentines Day to Christmas this former hunting lodge is nestled within the sleepy village of Tongue on the north coast of the stunning Scottish Highlands on Route 500. There are two bars, the Falcon is a part of the main hotel and Brass Tap, so called because of the brass tap set into the bar, a wee drop of water from it "to let the dram breathe", the latter only open March to October. There is a large variety of whisky and gin alongside Orkney brews.

Lining the walls there is an impressive selection of stuffed animals and birds. There is a very limited bus service.
