Traditional comfortable multi roomed pub with local photographs.

Real fires are complimented by friendly staff and a pleasant ambience. A children's play area and outside seating are added facilities. The carved wooden bar is striking. Thwaites Wainwright and Timothy Taylor Landlord are favoured cask beers and sometimes a third handpump is used. Extensive menu of home made food.

At quiet times the pub may occasionally close.
