Built in 1837, a large one bar family and dog friendly pub with an extensive outdoor rear garden perfect for viewing the impressive Victorian arches built to support the unstable sandstone cliffs. Good pub food is available six days a week including a steak night every Wednesday. There is a raised stage area for bands and DJs.
On the wall just behind the piano there is an interesting framed photograph of the pub taken when it was owned by Brighton brewers Robins’. There is a wood burning stove perfect for cosying around on Winter evenings.
