This Pub is Permanently Closed
The inn was built in 1511 and is in the hamlet of John’s Cross situated between Battle and Robertsbridge. It is a cosy, friendly pub with low beams, tables and chairs, bar stools, benches, real fires and a separate restaurant. The pub has been recently refurbished, both carpark and garden are large. Local reports are that following the death of the freeholder, the pubs opening and food hours have been irregular, while a sale is pending.
