Built in 1632 as two dwellings, the Queen’s Head has been a pub since 1831. It has open fires and a beer garden with fantastic views over the Brede Valley. Three changing ales and two ciders supplement three regular beers. Excellent, good-value home-made food is served daily. There are live music on Sunday afternoons and regular quizzes on Wednesdays, (ring for dates).
The pictured presentation above was made in May 2024 by the local CAMRA Branch to mark the pub appearing in the Good Beer Guide for forty consecutive years under the current landlord, Ian, an outstanding achievement yet unmatched in the branch area.
